Each piece is gold-filled or gold-plated - which is a wonderful and inexpensive alternative to other fine jewellery options - but does require you to be careful. Here are some tips for taking the best care of your new Middle-Aged Groove pieces:

KEEP THEM DRY : avoid wearing in the ocean or swimming pools, as the salt water and chlorine can cause damage to gold finish.

STORE SAFELY : keep and all your gold-filled or gold-plated jewellery as dry as possible and away from any humidity. Make sure you store your pieces individually in an air-tight plastic bag as often rubbing against your other jewellery pieces, can cause them to lose their sheen.

DON’T EXPOSE : don't wear any of your gold-filled or gold-plated jewellery when cleaning. Exposure to heavy detergents and cleaning agents can be detrimental to the shiny gold finish.

KEEP CHEMICALS AWAY : be mindful that perfume, hairspray and hand lotions may tarnish your jewellery due to the harsh chemicals they contain.

BUFF AND SHINE : gently wipe down your pieces with a jewellery polishing, non-scratch cloth every now and again to promote the shine.

NOT TOO MUCH TOUCHING : excessive touching of gold-filled or gold-plated jewellery, can often lead to surface friction and discolouring – so try to avoid the temptation.
